I am Kathy DeHart. I was born in Colorado, raised in Kansas and moved to Oklahom in 1984. Yes, I am an Okie. I graduated from Wichita State Univerisity in 1984 with a BS in Biological Sciences, and I was working on my Masters in Microbiology at OU when I was accepted to dental school. I graduated from The Univerisity of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1989. I completed a General Pracitce Residency at OU Medical Center in 1990. I practiced as an associate dentist in the Oklahoma City area for 13 years before opening my own practice in December of 2003.

I love dentistry and I love taking care of people. I have been in the health care profession since I was 15 years old. I worked as a certified nurse assistant, an EMT, as well as a medcial/x-ray technician through out my educational life.  I feel comfortable caring for people and am able to read the things people don't always say- like, "please, don't hurt me."

On a more personal note: I have been married for 20 + years. My husband Chuck works in the office with me. We are all computerized so he's my IT guy as well as helping in the business office. We have four daughters; Kaitlin, Rebel,Casey and Rachel. We live in the country between Edmond and Guthrie, Oklahoma. We attend church at Henderson Hills Baptist Church where I volunteer in the Children's Ministry and the Ministries of Jesus. I like to read, garden, exercise and in a past life- I used to travel.
